As the area remains a construction site, safety procedures must be followed.

For vehicles between 15 and 28 tonnes to access the site:

• Please email the Manager Transport and Public Access, Nicole Hume at nhume@bmcc.nsw.gov.au with at least two working days’ notice to obtain a permit for the heavy vehicle access.
• A permit will be required to be carried and shown to traffic control on site. Traffic controllers will then coordinate access through the site.

Please note that if the same vehicle needs to access the valley multiple times, only one permit will be required. Vehicles over 15 tonnes that are not scheduled to enter the valley will be turned back to ensure safety is maintained on site.

Thousands of people are expected to attend the Dulwich Hill Festival on Marrickville Rd and Seaview St from 12pm to 5pm on Sunday 29 September.

Marrickville Rd will be closed between New Canterbury Rd and Durham St from 3am until 9pm. Seaview St will also be closed (managed access for residents only will be maintained via Herbert St).

Traffic will be detoured via Wardell Rd and Frazer St or Beach Rd. 

Motorists should allow extra travel time on New Canterbury Rd in both directions approaching Dulwich Hill and be aware of increased pedestrian activity in the area.

Traffic will be heavy in the area as fans travel to and from the match. Motorists should allow extra travel time on roads approaching and around Moore Park including the Eastern Distributor, Moore Park Rd, Cleveland St, Anzac Pde and Lang Rd.

• Driver Avenue will be partially closed outside the stadium from 5.30pm and will reopen once crowds have safely cleared the area. 
• No through-traffic will be available on Driver Ave, however access to EP3 grass car park and drop-off areas maintained from Lang Rd.  EP3 car park open from 4.50pm. EP2 will not be open for this match.
• To support the Moore Park Road pop up cycleway, there is no left-turn permitted from Lang Road onto Moore Park Road westbound. Motorists can use Cook Road for access onto Moore Park Road instead.

• NRL Finals Week 2: Cronulla Sharks v Nth Queensland Cowboys at Allianz Stadium. Kick-off at 7.50pm, full time around 9.40pm

Traffic will be very heavy on roads approaching Moore Park as fans travel to the precinct in the already busy evening peak. Other events are also taking place nearby.

Motorists are urged to avoid unnecessary travel in the area before and after the games as delays are expected.

Ticketholders should carpool with their group, plan to arrive early and allow extra travel time on roads including the Eastern Distributor, Moore Park Rd, Cleveland St, Anzac Pde, Oxford St and Lang Rd.

Changed traffic conditions:

• Driver Ave will be partially closed outside the SCG from 4.45pm and will reopen after the games. No through-traffic will be available on Driver Ave.
• Access to EP2 car park will be maintained from Moore Park Rd and access to EP3 grass car park and drop-off areas will be maintained from Lang Rd. Carparks will open at 4.45pm
